Emergency Service Facilities

Early in MCG Architects' evolution, we decided we wanted to make an ongoing and sustainable “Contribution to Community”. Through a favour we were asked to do in York WA, to draw up their volunteer fire brigades new premises, we identified an opportunity to gift our service towards any and all regional emergency service projects. Since then, we have helped procure more than 40 facilities across all of WA through gifting our services at cost or pro-bono. Being a regional practice and regional people, we feel it is only fit that we volunteer in the same way many men and women do in providing protection to our lives and properties.

Community Projects

MCG Architects has worked alongside regional communities to deliver more than thirty emergency service facilities across Western Australia. These projects support the volunteers and organisations who play such an important role in community safety and resilience, including:

• Volunteer Bush Fire Brigades

• Volunteer Fire and Rescue Service

• State Emergency Service

• St John Ambulance

• Royal Flying Doctor Service

• Surf Life Saving Association

• Volunteer Marine Rescue

Nowhere is off limits

The map shows the reach of these projects and reflects our ongoing commitment to supporting communities across the state. Over time, our practice has become known for creating facilities that are both practical and enduring, designed to serve the people who depend on them every day.
