The Flying Architect

Our founder, Michel Greenhalgh, leads with passion; for architecture and for flying. His dual interests embody the MCG philosophy: combining vision with technical precision to reach new heights in design.

Michel is actively engaged in the business with hands-on involvement in every project. He is responsible for design integrity, quality control, business development, and financial management. His influence is evident in the forms and silhouettes of almost all MCG’s work: roofs that roll through the sky like waves, shapes that echo the natural environment, and colours that vibrate with energy, bringing formality and character to each building.

Beyond architecture, Michel’s skills as a licensed commercial pilot allow him to support communities in remote areas. Whether flying to regional centres for project collaboration or assisting emergency services, his commitment extends far beyond the drawing board, ensuring MCG’s impact is felt across all of Western Australia.
