Bridgtown Recreation Centre

Fifteen years of community vision came to life in the Bridgetown Recreation Centre. Designed on a modest $2 million budget and a challenging sloping site, the result is a striking regional facility that feels both robust and welcoming.

Curved roofs, exposed steel and a blend of tilt-up panels and metal cladding give the building a contemporary edge, while natural ventilation and ridge ventilators ensure it performs sustainably year-round. At its heart is a high-quality sports hall, finished with locally sourced Marri timber flooring, built to serve the community for generations.
