The Dolphin Discovery Centre is a landmark redevelopment that has redefined tourism in Bunbury, celebrating the city’s deep connection to its coastal environment and marine life.

The design draws inspiration from Noongar stories of dolphins, with these cultural narratives expressed through the building’s form and detailing. Inside, the sweeping “Leeuwin Current” ceiling and curving bulkheads guide visitors through the space, evoking the warm ocean current that sustains the region’s dolphins and bringing Bunbury’s story vividly to life.
